Solar Car Race 25th October 2009
Darwin to Adelaide

In 2009 there were 40 teams listed, but only 37 solar cars were on the start line in Darwin
The Race starts in Darwin and finishes in Adelaide, a total of 3000 kms along the Stuart Highway running North to South
It used to be called World Solar Challenge but it has changed its name to the Global Green Challenge in 2009

 There were 2 French teams:
Hélios from Lille and,
Bénélos from Clermont Ferrand

This was the 6^th time participating inthe World Solar Challenge for the Hélios team
They rank 13th  in the World Classification
