Welcome to the Alliance Française de Darwin

Soon after its creation in Paris, at the end of the 19th Century, the Alliance Française was administered by people like Louis Pasteur, Ernest Renan and Ferdinand de Lesseps.

The aim of the Alliance Française is to promote French language and culture around the world, as non- profit organisation. Each branch is integrated in its community with the Alliance Française de Paris ensuring that principles of neutrality, both politically and religiously are applied.

The Alliance Française de Darwin has been in existence since 1985.
