The event will commence with a panel discussion during which guest speakers will explore the principles of Restorative Practices and how it could work in the NT.
We will hear from:
• Rocket Bretherton, the Justice Reform Initiative’s Campaign and Advocate Coordinator in the NT
• Barbara Nasir, NT’s 2023 NAIDOC Female Elder of the Year
• Jared Sharp, a lawyer and mediator, North Australian Aboriginal Justice Agency
• Amy Lewis, Program Coordinator of Youth Diversion, Danila Dilba Health Service
• Sean Rimmer, Good Shepherd Lutheran College
• Tahlia Biggs, a program director, the NT Youth Parliament
There will also be an opportunity to chat with human rights advocates from Amnesty International.
As always, Deckchair will have a selection of fine French wines

and our Alliance Française volunteers will be there to chat with you about French classes and other cultural events taking place in Darwin
