The Alliance Française de Darwin hosts a range of cultural and social events where everyone is welcome: members, non members, Francophones, Francophiles…

You can practice French and learn about French culture while participating in entertaining activities. But you don't need to speak French, you can also attend if you are interested in the event, want to meet French people or are interested in the culture!

Here are all the different activities we hold throught the year:

• French Movie Nights at the beautiful Deckchair Cinema , one per Deckchair program (4 in total) – the next one will be announced on our Facebook page and newsletter so make sure you subscribe!
• Board Games Night, where you can enjoy practicing French while having some fun! (once a month)
• Enjoy our annual French Film Festival usually in May for 3 days with a nice wine & cheese platter
• And our famous Bastille Day (official date on the 14th of July) at Darwin Surf Life Saving Club, Brinkin where you can dance the night away!

There is something for everyone. So add a French touch to your activities all year around and join us!  Check our Facebook page or our event calendar to see what is on next!

Please remember that as a Not for Profit Organisation, we rely heavily on your participation at our events to be able to continue to exist and to achieve our missions in the best conditions possible.
